“I was a drug and alcohol counselor who relapsed. I was
working with teenage substance abusers with emotional disturbances.
I stepped away from the Lord; relied on my own strength instead
of God’s and relapse occurred.”
“One day as I realized I had obviously
hit bottom I was contemplating suicide. I had an all out fight
with God. I told Him I could not get sober on my own. I tried
and am not trying anymore and if He was real, He must show Himself
to me because I could not do it. And if He put my feet back on
His narrow path, I would commit my life to Him and serve Him the
rest of my days.”
“The next morning, I was out getting some
food because I ran out the night earlier. And while walking on
the road from getting some food from a community church in Running
Springs, I was hitchhiking on the road. Some guys came and picked
me up and after a little conversation I found out that they were
from Full Circle Outreach – a drug and alcohol recovery
ranch in Norco and that there was a bed available in that facility
at that moment and if I wanted to I could get a ride down there
and stay. This was God telling me to go with them and not look
back.”
“A couple of weeks ago I completed
the program, and now I am seeking the Lord’s will concerning
leadership in the Full Circle Outreach ministry. I am praying
specifically to go to Coolwater Ranch for God’s glory!”
